22nd to 29th of November  - Alentejo, Wineries and Essential Oils Distilleries

 

 

22nd of November 

We go out from Lisbon in direction to the village of Marvão 

Walk in this medieval village and see the views of the Castle.

Sleep in the Hotel in Marvão

 

23rd of November

In this day we visit one of the best wineries of Alentejo, "Adega Mayor", where we can prove the wine, and have a traditional lunch.

In the afternoon, near the winery we will visit the Science Center of the Coffee.

We will finish the day  in the Unesco Heritage City of Elvas.

 

24th of November

In the morning we will walking in the city, and visit the principal monuments of Elvas.

From Elvas we go visit some farms and wineries near, like João Portugal Ramos, near the important city of Estremoz.

At night we will arrive at the city of Évora.

 

25th of November 

Visit the Unesco World Heritage Centre  of Évora

Afternoon we will visit the Winery of Cartuxa, house of the famous wine "Pêra Manca"

 

26th of November

In the morning we go to visita small village and Castle os Monsaraz with a beautiful views of Alqueva lake.

Afternoon, we will visit a Winery of Esporão, one of the most important winery of Portugal

We will sleep near the village of Beja

 

27th of November

In the morning we will stop in some farms of Aromatic Plants, and Essential Oils distilleries

Afternoon we will visit a very old city of Mértola, near the Guadiana River

 

28th of November

 

Visit a  Essential Oil Distillery  in Alcoutim

 

29th of November

Arriving at Faro city in Algarve.

From here you can fly to home, from the local airport of Faro or return to Lisbon

 

The program can change due to weather conditions, and days can be, thus exchanged.
